When I did this case, Instagram did not exist. Neither did TikTok. I uploaded the video to YouTube and within days dental professors from all over the world were writing to me.
The patient had conical teeth — small, cone-shaped — with diastemas between them. Those gaps were not caused by a lack of orthodontics. They were structural. Even with orthodontics, they would have come back. The only real solution was veneers.
We placed 10 AM contact lens veneers: ceramic fragments of just 0.2 to 0.3mm in thickness, with minimal preparation of the natural tooth. Without anaesthesia for most of the steps. In 10 days.
